A Yoga Centre in Birmingham, which provides a wide range of weekly yoga classes in Staffordshire and the West Midlands area, is being saved from closure by a major contribution from a Stafford-based public relations and digital marketing agency.
Due to lack of funds, the Satyananda Yoga Centre has been limited in the way it has promoted itself online and Changeworks Communications in Stafford has stepped in to fund the stage 1 development of a new website and provide PR and marketing support.
Sue Tupling, Changeworks Managing Director, commented: “The school provides great support for people in Staffordshire and the West Midlands; I simply couldn’t see it close.
“As a business we believe in supporting the local community, so we will be conducting this work free of charge and making a donation to fund the website.
“This should help raise the centre’s profile and increase sales of classes, courses and products.”
Swami Satyaprakash, Director of Satyananda Yoga Centre, said: “The centre supports over 300 people in the West Midlands and surrounding areas with classes and workshops and also regularly raises funds for charity.
“Over the last few years we have fallen behind, when it comes to using the internet to promote what we do and because of this, closing the school became a serious possibility.
“I am delighted that Changeworks has offered to step in and make such a massive contribution to securing the future of the school.”
Satyananda Yoga Centre Birmingham provides a wide range of weekly yoga classes, courses and workshops. There are currently 12 teachers associated with the centre offering beginners, intermediate and advanced classes to the general public.
Changeworks delivers a wide range of services including media relations, social media, email marketing and photography and video.
